Aaron has been a professional musician in Melbourne for more than a decade. Whiles he is usually seen playing Baritone Sax in Grand WaZoo - Kings of Soul, he is a fluent performer on all saxophones, flutes and clarinets.


Aaron has performed with theatre personalities including Rhonda Burchmore, Chloe Dallimore, Marina Prior, Marty Fields and Peter Cousins, and well-known bands like The Pearly Shells, Grupo Bahia, Esstee Big Band, Kinju Quintet and many others. Aaron also leads his own Jazz quintet, with his debut CD released to critical acclaim : 'Searle plays superbly - most musicians would be happy to deploy such a fine tenor sax as he plays, but he offers much more than that..."(AFR)


Aaron worked with Grand WaZoo as a guest player for several years, playing all reeds, before taking over the Baritone chair and becoming Leader of the Horn Section - and is a highly valued band member. He is also participating in writing for Grand WaZoo’s  30 anniversary CD album.
