A singer and actress, Samantha Morley’s career has covered all facets of performance including theatre, television, film, concerts and so on. After training she toured nationally and internationally with a vocal group , Vocal Point and then for 5 years with the Walt Disney Company.

As a vocalist, she has worked with many of the country’s finest including the DMJO, B Sharp Big Band and various Jazz combos. She was part of Soul Legend, Barry White’s final Australian tour and the group were nominated for the Mo Awards. Sam has also been resident vocalist on the Pacific Princess cruise liner and guest entertainer on the P&O Pacific Sun. She has appeared in Carols in the Domain, The Sydney Cabaret Convention, on Good Morning Australia (TV) and also has music theatre credits, including The Boy From Oz, Chess, Fiddler On The Roof, The Sound of Music, Billy Elliot, Cats, The Hatpin, Girl From The North Country, A Christmas Carol seasons, and others.

Her work in television includes acting and composing for soundtracks. She released her debut jazz album, The Nearness of You in 2012. Initially Sam contacted band-leader John in regard to her jazz work, but then filled in with Grand WaZoo - Kings of Soul at short notice. She was so impressive in terms of her talent and professionalism, that she was invited to perform with the band from time to time - and we were delighted to have her join the line-up as a featured artist with the band, between other engagements.
