Versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer & teacher, Nick started performing with Grand WaZoo as a guest around 2000, before taking on the Baritone chair for  two years, and then moving into the Alto chair, where he has commanded ever since.


Prior to joining Grand WaZoo - Kings of Soul, Nick had graduated from VCA and gained wide-ranging experience, playing in bands of all genres, from Swing to Soul to Latin, and touring with them to New Caledonia, England and throughout Asia. He has also performed many musicals over the years, including West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Chicago, Carousel & Anything Goes, and in the Public Opinion Afro Orchestra.


Nick has appeared in the media with Grand WaZoo many times and enjoys composing and recording, working on projects with colleagues and he experiments with electronic music as well.  He teaches clarinet and flute and all saxophones. Within Grand WaZoo - Kings of Soul, Nick is known for his audacious solos and is a mild-mannered artist with stupendous gifts.
