Trombone

Impressive Jazz musician Eric begun playing Trombone in year 7 and from there he has made music through all sorts of lengths of tubing and pipes. Eric is a true multi-instrumentalist,, who plays ...catch your breath!: Piccolo Trumpet, Bb Trumpet, Cornet, Flugelhorn, Soprano, Alto Tenor and Bass Trombone, Euphonium, Eb Tuba BBb Cimbasso, Conch shells, Didgeridoo, Tenor and Bass Duduk, Church serpent in C, Soprano Alto and Tenor saxophone, Soprano and Bass Flute...phew !

This versatility has placed Eric in various work settings allowing him to become an eclectic musician. Eric holds a Bachelor of Music Performance and Post Graduate Diploma of Music Performance from the Victorian College of the Arts, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma of Education from Monash University.

His performance experience has been wide-ranging from Media to Orchestral, Film Score, Reggae, Sound Scape, Big Band, Free, Avant-garde, Latin, Dixie-Land, Swing, Funk and Soul. Eric previously spent five years as Grand WaZoo’s valued Trombonist, for numerous gigs,TV appearances and performing on CD, Soul Monster-Live. He also appeared in JM’s Cafe Society Orchestra. Subsequently, he has performed regular gigs and live television engagements, and been invited to record on many CDs as a guest artist.
